Itinerary: Day> Activities

1.Airport pick-up in Kathmandu – the capital of Nepal . Transfer to hotel located in the tourist area Tamel. Lunch. Walking tours through the historical center of
Kathmandu. Overnight at the hotel 
2.Continuation of the
Kathmandu guided tour. Visiting: Buddanath - the largest Buddhist religious monument in the world, the sacred river Bagmati, Swayambhunatkh - also known as the "monkey temple" and other tourist attractions. Lunch. Free time. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel 
3.Flight from
Kathmandu to Lukla (flight - about 45 minutes). Go to the settlement Phakdin (2610 m) the path along the valley of the river Dudkh Kosi 
4.Go to the settlement of Namche Bazar (3400 m) - the center of the Solo Khumbu region. Getting familiar with traditions and culture of the Sherpa people. Dinner. Overnight 
5.A Day in the Namche Bazar village. Trek to the observation deck overlooking the Everest and the peaks of Ama Dablam, Lkhotse, Tkhamserku. Dinner. Overnight 
6.The descent to the river Bhote Kosi, then - the ascent to Thyangboche (3860m) - the the Buddhist monastery. Visiting the monastery. Dinner. Overnight
7.Trek to the settlement Dingboche (4410 m), then - ascent to the Sherpa settlement Pangboche (3930m), the site of the oldest Buddhist monastery in the Khumbu region. Dinner. Overnight in the settlement Dingboche
8.Trek to Lobuche (4910m). Great views of
Himalayas. Ascent to the mountain plateau towards the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. Camping part of the route begins. Setting up the camp. Supper. Overnight in tents. 
9.Trek to Gorakshep (5140m.), travel time - about 3 hours. Ascent to the top of Kalapatar (5545 m). The best and the closest views of the
Mount Everest! Setting up camp. It is New Year Eve! New Year’s festivities.  Overnight
10. Happy New Year! Descent begins.Visiting to the base camp for mountain expeditions (5364 m), then – further to the village Lobuche (4910m). Supper. Overnight
11. Further descent: Lobuche - Thyangboche. Beautiful mountain views. On the way: experiencing the daily life of local Sherpa people
12.Trek from Thyangboche to Namche Bazar. End of the camping trip. Destresing. Rest in the
village of Namche. Supper. Overnight 
13.Trek: Namche Bazar - Lukla 
14.Catching flight from Lukla to
Kathmandu. Group Meeting at the airport. Transfer to the hotel in Kathmandu. Free time. Overnight
15.Departure from Kathmandu
